Features work on one computer, but not another - same login and password.
I am able to use the Notes feature on ESVBible.org on one computer, but not on another. I've tried changing from Chrome to Internet Explorer but that doesn't help. When I log in on my desktop computer, all I can get is the splash screen that tells me all the things I can do and the search bar to search the Bible. Why do the notes work on my small notebook computer, but not the desktop? I study in both places at different times.

Oh by the way - both browsers do allow cookies. I saw a similar problem and that was the suggested solution.

Thanks for reaching out! On your desktop computer, can you try using the search bar to access a verse? When you're taken to esvbible.org upon searching, are you logged in and able to view your notes? If you're not logged in there should be a login link at the top of the page. What happens if you use that link?

I tried the suggested solution above. Yes, I tried accessing Colossians, chapter 3 where I knew I had made some notes since that was the topic of our teaching last Friday night - I had the notebook computer with me and used that. No, I could not see any notes and the line below "My Notes" says "unknown user." Even though I should be logged in, it does give me a login link. When I use it, I am right back to that original splash screen. Thanks - can we keep trying?

Yeah, this is definitely a login locked up loop - please forgive the alliteration. I've checked cookies and they appear to be properly set up. It all worked beautifully on the notebook computer this morning, but not on the desktop, so it's something to do with this computer. Thanks for your help.

1Have you tried clearing out your cookies, or at least the cookies related specifically to ESVBible.org? Sometimes they can get corrupted and cause some issues. -
